Garbo Dreams is presented in one of two ways:
performance of the play or a Garbo appearance.
The evening often includes a jazz quartet.
The Garbo Dreams Play

The hour-long solo play or a 10-20 minute segment.
It is best performed inside unique spaces, such a living room or lounge. There is one performer.

The Garbo Appearance

An unobtrusive, low-key appearance, where Garbo blends into the background while giving the event an Old Hollywood appeal. Best accompanied by a jazz trio or other musical guest.

Garbo Dreams Reviews

"Greta Garbo was brilliant, beautiful, and an extraordinary talent. She was also a tormented soul. In GARBO DREAMS, you get to see the real Greta Garbo in all her complexity. This performance will haunt you well after you've seen it."
- Cheryl Wiesenfeld, Tony Award winning producer "Elaine Stritch at Liberty"

"GARBO DREAMS brings an iconic woman to life and makes one feel as though they were an intimate friend of Garbo. Invite her to your space- and feel the magic of insider time travel to Garbo's last days."
- Greta Schiller, Emmy Award winner, "Paris Was a Woman"

"#Garbo laughs. #Garbo cries. #Garbo lives. #Garbo dies. And you will too, when you see @GarboDreams"
- Michael Darden, Perfect Pitch Media

"Lauren's portrayal of Garbo is often eye opening as well as heart breaking. Her attention to detail and characterization make for a really fantastic evening of theatre that is both intimate and thought-provoking. Having it be a private salon adds to the intimacy. There are very few people around so you feel almost like you're peering in on the story. The journey she takes the audience on is powerful and engaging and makes us feel like voyeurs in the final moments of Garbo's life. This really is quite an achievement in both its performance and execution."
- Michael Roderick, Producer, "The Scottsboro Boys" (Broadway)

"Garbo Dreams is a captivating theatrical powerhouse of an evening. LoGiudice is clearly a huge Garbo fan - it comes across in her embodied performance that is the culmination of years of research and writing and artistic inspiration."
- Peter Heller, Producer "Vanishing of the Bees"

"Lauren LoGiudice pulls off genuine love for Garbo in her one-woman show. A solid example of her talents as a writer/ performer, Lauren pulled me into Garbo's world."
- Josh Deal, Producer at Andrew Lauren Productions ("The Spectacular Now")

"In the riveting and evocatively intimate Garbo Dreams, Lauren LoGiudice does more than impersonate Greta Garbo, she takes you right into the living room (and the hilarious and disturbing mind) of one of Hollywood’s greatest and most mysterious actresses. It’s a one-woman tour de force about the cost of celebrity… and it’s right in your lap!”
- Matt Hoverman, CreateYourOwnSoloShow.com, Emmy Award nominee

"Lauren LoGiudice fully inhabits Greta Garbo in a production that is inventive, intimate and revealing."
- Jeremy Handelman, producer at Off the Leash Productions

Audience reviews:
“An intriguing look into the life of a great icon.”

“Made me wonder how we all craft our identity when no one is looking.”

“Through the experience I was confronted with Greta’s heartbreak of loneliness and old age, the dilemma of imperfect memory and how we make those memories part of our own stories, as well as the drive to succeed and the fear of failure.”

“I was blown away; spellbound from the moment Ms. Garbo descended the stairs all the way to the end. I felt the range of her feelings and how she manifested them- fear, humor, strength, vulnerability, etc - through the range of performance. She felt very real to me and I found myself feeling enormous compassion for her. I wanted to know more.”
